Dato Dr Lee graduated from King Edward Seventh College of Medicine in 1950.In 1955, Dr Lee obtained a MDS Dental Department, Faculty of Medicine in the University of Malaya.

Dr Lee went to UK to further his studies in 1957 and obtained a Fellowship in Dental Surgery of the Royal College of Surgeons of England as well as a Fellowship in Dental Surgery of the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh.

Dr Lee was the Staff of Dental School, University of Malaya in Singapore from 1950 to 1966 and head of Department in Dental School, Singapore from 1966 to 1967.

Dr Lee joined RCOLL as a partner in 1967 to 1997 and has been a consultant in RCOLL from since 1997 till present.
